These oils are particularly recommended for the lubrication of materials for which a Codex oil is required in food industries : lubrication of mixing, slicing, wrapping, cutting machines, etc.
There are also recommended, strictly within pharmacopoeia, as component for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and phytosanitary industries : production of creams, ointments, lotions and aperients.
Plastic industries : plasticizing machine for objects destined to food contact.
For example as in:
- Textile industry: base for treatment oil
- Rubber industry: plasticizer for clear mixtures
- Phytosanitary industry: basis for formulations in oil environment
- Paint industry: basis and raw material for oil paints
- Tannery: basis for relaxers
