Pallas 2500 5W30
PALLAS 2500 5W-30 is a full synthetic lubricant, exploiting the possibilities of the top range API-FA-4 typology. A top quality fuel-saving diesel engine oil based on the latest additive technology in combination with specially selected synthetic base oils.
PALLAS 2500 5W30 meets the requirements of VOLVO VDS 5.
PALLAS 2500 5W30 is NOT downwards compatible with the classically produced engines asking for API CJ-4 or CK-4 type oils. ( VOLVO VDS 4.5/4/3) For the servicing of a mixed fleet we strongly advise PALLAS 2000 5W-30, which may be used where VDS 3 - 4 - 4.5 and 5 are mentioned in the manual.
ADVANTAGES
This engine oil therefore has the following properties:
- a very strong detergent effect prevents deposits in the engine.
- a very strong dispersing effect prevents the formation of sediment and "sludge".
- a reduced tendency to form particles extends the life of the particle filter.
- very strong anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties
- a high natural viscosity index
- low sulphate ash, phosphorus and sulfur content (low SAPS)
